The basics and initial setup
What is badgelu?
badgelu is a fan-marketing platform that makes supporter enthusiasm visible and turns it into revenue. It gives influencers and creators who already have followers on X or Instagram a new, platform-independent source of income.
Unlike traditional social media where follower count is your earning power, badgelu lets you turn supporter enthusiasm into revenue.

You can log in to badgelu with any of these three accounts. Signing up and logging in are the same step, and no email registration is required.

Whichever method you use, that account's icon is imported automatically as your profile image (you can change it anytime).
Profile & account management
Once registered, set up your profile from "Edit Profile" in the dashboard. Here's what appears on your public page and how to configure it.
Basic profile
Username
Used in your profile URL (badgelu.com/username). 3–20 chars, letters/numbers and _ - only
Display name
The name shown on your page (up to 50 chars, optional)
Profile image
The round avatar shown on your profile page (auto-cropped to a square, up to 5MB)
Banner image
The wide cover image shown in your profile page header (up to 5MB)
Bio
Supports Markdown (up to 300 chars)
Add your social accounts
Adding your socials (X, Instagram) shows links on your public page. It makes it easier for supporters to follow your other channels too.
Public page display settings
Choose what to show on your profile page with checkboxes.
- Show the badges you issue
- Show the badges you hold
- Show your chant history (the amount is visible only to you; others see just the chant count)
Customize your page design
Pick your public page's accent color and background color, each from 8 presets (or a custom color code). Match your brand and give your page its own personality.
Account management
At the bottom of the profile edit page, you can suspend or delete your account.
Suspend account
Temporarily make it private; can be resumed later
Delete account
Delete the account. Your personal info (profile, socials, bank details, etc.) is anonymized and you can no longer log in (not restorable)
Supporters' records are protected. Even if you delete your account, purchased supporters' purchase history, chants, and NFT rank records are kept (a logical deletion that anonymizes only your personal info). Before deletion, a warning like "You have ○ supporters" appears to prevent mistakes.
Payout setup (Stripe Connect)
To issue paid badges and receive revenue, you set up Stripe Connect. This enables automatic transfers of your sales to your bank account — you do it once, then it's automatic. Stripe is a secure payment service used worldwide.
- Open "Payout Settings" in the dashboard
- Tap "Set up Stripe Connect"
- Choose your country (e.g. Japan)
- Follow Stripe's screens to verify your identity and register your bank account
- Done — from now on, sales are transferred automatically to your account

Setup is done and automatic payouts are active
Currency tip: Registering a Japanese bank account makes your payout currency Japanese yen (JPY). Setting badge prices in yen avoids currency conversion fees. Once Stripe Connect is set up, the badge creation form's currency defaults to your payout account's currency, so leaving it as-is prevents mismatches.
Without Stripe Connect, you can't create paid badges or use the referral program. Free badges can be issued without any setup.
Reading the dashboard
After logging in, the dashboard is your gateway to every feature. Menus grow gradually as you use badgelu.

If you haven't issued any badge yet, "Badge Management," "Content Revenue," and "Supporter Analytics" don't appear.
