badgelu is a community platform where badge creators publish and sell "badges" to supporters, who compete in rankings through "chants" (cheering). It visualizes supporter enthusiasm and lets creators give special recognition to their most passionate supporters.

Yes. Simply log in with your Google, X (Twitter), or LINE account — no email registration or approval process required.

Yes. With a single account you can issue badges as a creator while also purchasing badges from other creators as a supporter.

A badge is a membership pass for a community. Badge creators issue them, and supporters who acquire them (by purchase or invitation) become community members. Only badge holders can send chants.

A badge is defined by two axes. (1) Badge type: Regular (no expiration — valid forever once acquired) or Challenge (choose an end condition, "by date" or "on achievement"). (2) Distribution: paid sale / free giveaway (anyone can get it from the badge page) or invite-only (only people with a secret key you issue can get it for free). The badge type (Regular / Challenge) cannot be changed after creation.

You can have up to 20 active badges at once. Deleted (deactivated) badges don't count toward this limit, so deleting unneeded ones lets you create new ones.

Yes. Set the badge price to 0 and supporters can get it for free. Chant prices can also be set to 0. Free badges can be issued without connecting Stripe (payout setup).

For paid badges, you choose how supporters pay: one-time or monthly subscription. One-time means a single payment and the supporter keeps the badge until they discard it; a monthly subscription is billed automatically every month and continues supporting you until the supporter cancels. The billing type is set per badge and cannot be changed after creation. Issuing a subscription badge requires connecting Stripe to receive payouts, just like any paid badge. The revenue split (platform fee) works the same as one-time: on each monthly charge, the fee is deducted and the rest is automatically paid out to you.

A chant is a show of support (a tip) that supporters send to a badge creator they want to cheer on. The more chants you send, the higher you rank on that badge's leaderboard. Chants are per-badge and not shared across different badges from the same creator.

Free chants (unit price 0) can be sent once per person; paid chants (unit price 1 or more) any number of times (up to 1,000 per purchase). A paid chant purchase must meet the per-currency minimum charge. The chant unit price is set by the badge creator per badge.

Whether you can send unlimited chants depends on the chant unit price, not on the badge price. Even a free badge lets you chant repeatedly if its chant unit price is 1 or more.

When a Challenge badge ends, its chant count resets. If the creator issues a new season's badge, a fresh ranking starts — giving new supporters a chance to climb to the top.

Perks are exclusive content only badge holders can see. Creators can set up to 5 per badge across four types: text, URL, PDF, and serial code. You access them from the badge page.

Polls let creators factor supporters' opinions into their decisions. Voting power is "1 vote (holding the badge) + your cumulative chant count," so supporters who've cheered more carry more weight. You can change your vote before the deadline, and results are visible after you vote.

Yes. From each message in your inbox (Dashboard → Messages), choose "stop delivery from this creator" (per creator = per badge). Past messages remain even after you stop delivery.

Creating badges and registering an account is free. When a badge or chant sale occurs, a platform fee is deducted from your revenue. The fee has a base of 20%, and drops to as little as 10% when discount conditions are met (the lower the fee, the more you earn). You can check the fee rate currently applied on the "Revenue" page of your dashboard.

Badge and chant revenue is automatically deposited via Stripe Connect. Please connect your Stripe account from "Payout Settings" in your dashboard. After the platform fee is deducted, funds are deposited to your bank account on Stripe's payout cycle (typically about 2 business days).

The fee has a base of 20%, and an automatic discount applies when you meet certain conditions, lowering it to as little as 10%. You can check the fee rate currently applied, and the discount conditions and your progress, on the "Revenue" page of your dashboard. The discount conditions are set and updated by us as campaigns.

When you invite other badge creators to badgelu, you earn 5% of their badge, chant, and NFT sales as a referral reward with no expiry (free badges and free chants are not eligible). To receive rewards, your own Stripe Connect setup must be complete. You can get your referral link from "Referral Program" in your dashboard.

Yes. Creators who belong to an agency or team can allocate a portion of their revenue to the organization as a management fee (rate 0–50%, subject to your approval). The management fee comes from your revenue after the platform fee is deducted, and you always keep at least 50% of your revenue. It is currently invitation-only; while you belong to an organization you can see the breakdown on the "Revenue" page, and you can leave at any time.

A Rank NFT is an optional feature that lets supporters permanently record their current rank on the blockchain. Any badge holder can mint one at any time (only on badges where the creator allows it), and each mint is an independent snapshot — the same badge can be minted multiple times.

For paid badges, you receive the NFT mint price (badge price × mint fee rate) minus the platform fee. The mint fee rate can be set by the creator per badge, from 0 to 100%. A minimum mint price applies per currency based on Stripe's minimum charge (e.g. $0.50 for USD) — if the calculated price falls below this minimum, the minimum is used instead. Example: at a 20% mint fee rate, a $10.00 badge generates a $2.00 mint price, of which you receive $1.80 when the fee is discounted to its 10% floor ($1.60 at the base 20% fee).

No. For free badges (price = 0), the entire mint price goes to badgelu to cover operating costs. Creators receive no revenue from free badge NFT mints.

Credit cards and debit cards are supported (Stripe payments). Major cards including VISA, Mastercard, JCB, and American Express are accepted.

For one-time badges, we do not support cancellations or refunds after purchase — please review the badge details carefully before buying. Monthly subscription badges can be cancelled at any time (see below).

For a badge you're supporting via monthly subscription, tap "Cancel" on the badge page at any time. Even after you cancel, you keep the perks until the end of the current billing period (the day before your next renewal), and the badge is automatically removed after that. There is no prorated refund for a partial period.
